This peachy rose keeps opening wider and wider, reflecting my heartfelt desire to re-arrange my home, my habits, my connections, my selections.
As summer began I dismantled the bookshelves, stored lots of books away and created a gallery wall in my little cottage. I purchased canvas prints of Italy, hung my own framed photos and poetry, added crystals and hummingbirds, buddhas and art supplies. The workshop has been open to friends old and new while the bright sun has streamed in for conversation, card games and inspiration.
Not only has my environment been re-arranged but I find myself thinking and behaving in new and different ways. I am more aware of what is happening on the world stage and less inclined to engage in areas where I have no control. At the same time, I find myself diving deeper into the unseen realms and listening more carefully to the whispers of spirit. And all the while staying practical while asking myself the big questions. For example, what do I want??
As summer begins it’s final chapter, I find myself ready to start understanding new perspectives and take action. It’s likely to mean buckling down from wandering a bit, but also to create a re-commitment to all that I love the most: envisioning the future, living a magical life, helping others through coaching, conversation and prayer, listening to the wind, writing and expressing my thoughts and love. Tomorrows are flying in so rapidly, there is no time like the present.
