Just about 27 years ago, I completed an intense cycle of work and the only transforming activity I could think of was to start taking pictures of the beauty that surrounded me in Montana. I would only have to walk out my door or take a little drive and nature would answer my call. On Thanksgiving Day, I took a drive and stopped in near the Yellowstone River. This was the first photo I was really proud of and appropriately gave thanks.
Soon I began putting my photos into greeting cards and I had somehow created a small business. Because of the expanse of the sky and a song I had once heard, I decided to call my business Blue Heaven. I still have the envelope from the state of Montana congratulating me on my business name.
Over the last few months I have returned to Blue Heaven as the name for my transformed coaching practice. Although autumn is on the wane, the other day skies were still blue and trees golden. I decided to take a drive through Paradise Valley and return to the same spot by the river. Although the camera angle was different and I was experiencing myself as a very different person, I was able to capture the picture below and found myself celebrating Blue Heaven all over again with gratitude for the years in between.

This is truly beautiful Susan. I have always loved your Blue Heaven.
Many thanks, Cheryl. The journey continues!
Love the new river photo even more!
The camera results were surprising! 💙🌹💜
Both photos are very beautiful, Susan. The colors in the sky of your newest photo speaks to me of your Journey upward these past years…so very rich and colourful…like you….💜
Aw, thanks Kathleen! It is always comforting when heaven speaks to us – even through the camera lens. 💙
Lovely sharing…as we really begin to see who and where we are as we navigate life.
Thanks, Sandra, good to be back in touch 🤗
